Psychic Entertainment For Greater Grand Rapids
Definitions:
Home - where you live, sometimes work, enjoy meals with families (often . . . ), entertain friends, and, hopefully, feel the most comfortable.
Psychic - ahh, that’s difficult . . . can we come back to that one?
Parties - events where a group of friends get-together to eat and drink and have a good time. These can be formal with a great deal of structure or because it’s someone’s birthday or an anniversary or retirement or . . . well, almost for any reason since we are social creatures by and large, and having a good time with others . . . well, that’s what we (should) do! Laughter and warm social feelings are as important as any dip, snack, dinner, wine, main purpose, or reason we do these parties. I think we got this!
Now, “Psychic” . . . well, I suppose the best way to describe it is to say that I am a “Mystery Arts Entertainer” since I entertain with things like Magic and comedy, and a special subgroup of those arts would be the Magic of the Mind . . . with nice side orders of “unbelievable” and “how is that he knew that!” thrown in for extra character.
Well, actually, “character readings” as home psychic parties do have character readings as a main part of the evening. These are not “fortune telling” attempts! As I tell everyone, if I could really “tell fortunes” I would be independently wealthy . . . and, well, do you have to make me say it??
Character readings would best be described as some interaction between a person and me that suggests I can “read” a good deal about that person from his or her handwriting, palm, Tarot card spread, or some other personal item that has a strong connection to the person. It is, truth be told - and I always tell the truth - an opening of his or her mind to let me see what I can see or hear or feel. That’s the “psychic” part since I really have not met or heard anything about the vast majority of people I do a “reading” for at one of these parties. I must say that these have often been the most popular of any of the Mystery Arts that I use to entertain - many companies have extended my hours well-passed the contracted time when I was entertaining at corporate events.
In a few words, a Home Psychic Party has two parts: 1) a short stand-up demonstration of some mentalism (Magic of YOUR Mind), and 2) private character readings for those guests who want them. Numbers and costs and other details are discussed before the event, and you will find me exceptionally easy to modify my performance if need be at the event. Oh, I almost forgot - there is absolutely NO OCCULT or any reference to any supernatural entity or power. Nope, what I do - and what so many have found both entertaining and memorable and beyond what they expected - is 100% natural and uses only the gifts we all have been given.
